I loved the quirky charm of the hotel Matelote. The location is perfect, just minutes from major attractions. I enjoyed the spacious Deluxe Double Room with its comfortable bed and ample amenities. The complimentary coffee and tea available 24/7 was a lovely touch, especially after exploring the city. the breakfast selection was a bit basic and could benefit from more variety. the lack of an elevator made moving luggage a challenge, especially with the steep stairs. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall atmosphere and character of the hotel made my stay enjoyable.

unique building atmosphere, character-driven room designs, spacious and well-equipped rooms
The lack of an elevator is a hassle for anyone with mobility issues!!! the absence of air conditioning in the rooms is quite uncomfortable during warm weather!!! Lastly, the steep stairs are less than ideal for carrying luggage!!!
